Magic Box Toys takes SuperZings back to school with SuperZings Superhero of the Week campaign

Magic Box Toys has revealed the details of a second bespoke primary school classroom initiative called SuperZings Superhero of the Week.

The latest development has been launched to support and celebrate the September launch of series two of the collectable range, SuperZings – Rivals of Kaboom while the campaign follows a successful initiative that launched the brand into schools earlier this year.

It has been designed for Year One classes and aims to help teachers celebrate their Superhero of the Week, rewarding children who demonstrate great learning and behaviour Super Powers at school.

200 schools have been recruited to receive a free pack containing all the elements needed to celebrate children’s classroom Super Powers by encouraging academic achievement and positive behaviours based on school values.

Children are also being encourage to create their own value-based Super Powers which they can work to accomplish.

The initiatvie itself ties in to the hero vs villain format of SuperZings – a collectable toy range which uses everyday objects and food as characters. Series two brings in new additions and range expansions.

Ben Harper, magic Box Toys International, said: “There was a great response to our first schools’ initiative back in January, which was not only a great resource for teachers, but also formed part of the award-winning campaign for the launch of SuperZings. The feedback we received from teachers was extremely positive.

“SuperZings is all about Superheroes, so the synergy it has with celebrating superheroes in the classroom is perfect. From our conversations with teachers at UK primary schools, we know that Star of the Week is something children aspire to already, so to enhance this with our superhero theme and encourage learning and positive behaviour is a great way for children to understand and enjoy core school values.”

Participating schools will receive a free SuperZings Superhero of the Week pack, containing an exclusive SuperZings Superhero of the Week Wall Calendar and stickers. SuperZing blind bags for the whole class, Superhero of the Week stickers and certificates for the children tio take home, plus a classroom poster filled with learning and behaviour Super Powers children can achieve.

Every child at participating schools will also have the chance to design a SuperZings Superhero of the Week Cape with prizes up for grabs.
