Winning Moves is making a Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir Monopoly

Zag Heroez Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is making the move into board games thanks to a new licensing EMEA partnership with the toy firm Winning Moves.

In time for the Christmas period, Winning Moves will be launching a Miraculous Monopoly Junior game in a deal brokered by Bulldog Licensing. It is the first if two new EMEA licensing deals for the hit animated kids’ property.

Gloob Licensing has just secured a licensing partnership with Ipanema Sandals for a Miraculous footwear range for both kids and adults. The collection consists of flip flops and back-strap sandals for kids, and an exclusive adult flip flop. The range will roll out in the US and Europe in April next year.

The new partners join a burgeoning licensing portfolio that topped the $100 million mark in retail sales in 2017. The series has earned top TV ratings globally, with season two airing and season three launching mid 2019.

“Miraculous continues to build its fans base, demonstrated through TV ratings that are still number one in many countries for kids and girls and we keep winning awards,” said Andre Lake Mayer, president, global consumer products for ZAG.

“We are honoured to have Ipanema Sandals and Winning Moves, two best in class licensees giving their perennial products a Miraculous spin, allowing kids and kids at heart to engage with their favourite relatable heroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir.”

Miraculous was recently voted Best License of the Year and Best Entertainment Property at Spain’s 15th Licencias de Actualidad awards. Among a string of international awards it was also the winner of the 2018 Teen Choice Award for Choice Animated Series.
