HTI, the UK’s largest independent toy manufacturing business, has strengthened its senior ranks with the promotion of Lee Glickman to head of UK design.
Having helped develop some of the company’s best-selling toys, Glickman will now work alongside head of creative, Marco Moroso in joint collaboration as they develop new product innovations.
Marco Mororso, head of creative at HTI, said: “Lee has proven to be a very creative and very passionate designer. His strive for innovation will be key to the development of HTI’s future line-ups and we look forward to continuing to work alongside him to develop and grow the business.”
Th company has said that Glickman’s promotion will set a ‘great example to the wider team, helping to sculpt innovation even further and add to HTI’s already strong product portfolio.’
The progression also brings new opportunities as HTI is now actively looking for an additional junior product designer to support this strategic growth of the business.
Meanwhile, the continual growth of HTI has seen further recruitment in the marketing department with the appointment of Lucy Warren as licensing and marketing assistant. She will provide support across both licensing and marketing functions having recently graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in marketing.
HTI’s brands include Evo and TEamsterz as well as an extensive licensing portfolio of some of the biggest children’s brands including Peppa Pig, My Little Pony and PJ Masks.
