Mattel strengthens its board of directors with two new appointments

Mattel has appointed Adriana Cisneros, CEO of Cisneros Group of Companies and Roger Lynch, president and CEO of Pandora Media to its company board of directors.

Ynon Kreiz, chairman and CEO of Mattel has said the move to further ‘strengthen and develop its board of directors coincides with its continued plans to transform Mattel into an IP-driven, high performing toy company.’

“Mattel and its board will benefit immensely from Adriana’s and Roger’s unique, valuable experience in key business areas including digital content, social media, online marketing and technology,” he said.

“Adriana and Roger are proven leaders, with extensive experience in managing complex, multi-national, consumer facing organisations in rapidly-evolving industries and geographies.”

Cisneros serves as director and executive committee member of the board of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a Trustee of the Paley Center for Media and co-chair of Endeavour Miami.

Meanwhile, Lynch is a recognised leader in the digital entertainment and content delivery industries an serves as president and CEO of Pandora, the streaming music provider.

Kreiz added: “With the addition of Adriana and Roger, as well as Todd Bradley and Soren Laursen, who joined the board in May this year, Mattel’s board of directors is further strengthening its capabilities, diversity and expertise for the future. Mattel remains committed to continued board development.”
