Mondo Games celebrates 25 years of Jurassic Park with new game, The Chaos Gene

Mondo Games is joining the 25 anniversary celebrations for Jurassic Park with the announcement of its newest board game title, Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene.

The tabletop game will let two to four players take control of different factions in the park while they strive to reach their goals.

Options here include working in the field of science as the head of InGen operations, being a cunning and resourceful raptor as you discover weaknesses in the park’s defence system, to being a guest of John Hammond and simply trying to survive.

The game will make its first appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

“In our approach to Jurassic Park: The Chaos Gene, we took many of our favourite elements of a traditional dungeon crawl style board game and spliced them with one of our favourite films of all time,” said Mondo Games’ creative director, Luke Byers.

“The goal was to create something truly unique and incredibly fun to play.”

The game will be available this autumn via the Mondo website and n local stores in the US.
