Schleich embarks on search for new star species to join its Wildlife figurines line

Schleich has kicked off a campaign in search of a new star for its line of true-to-life Wildlife figurines.

The global hunt is tasking fans to vote for the next species to join its animal figurine collection, with the winning figure taking pride of place in the 2019 catalogue.

The consumer vote will take place between July 11 and 19, with entrants being asked to go online to the global website to place their nomination. As an added incentive, 15 Wildlife Playsets are up for grabs.

Paul Dearlove, marketing manager, Schleich UK, said: “This is just the sort of campaign that shows how Schleich’s toys and playsets have no global boundaries and are relevant to children the world over.

“We expect the choice of animals to be extremely varied and I for one cannot wait to see what wins. What’s more, not only is this initiative great fun, but the market research will also be invaluable. My personal vote goes to the Tasmanian Devil.”
