TOMY’s Mark Foster departs as firm sees international restructure

TOMY has detailed changes to its international management team with the departure of the executive vice president of TOMY Europe, Mark Foster.

The move comes as TOMY restructures its European business, bringing it in under the TOMY International arm, the subsidiary responsible for North America, Latin America and now Europe.

Effective immediately, TOMY International president Pete Henseler and chief operating officer Greg Kilrea will take on the new international assignment while Foster relinquished his role at TOMY Europe on June 18.

“With this change, we are well positioned to execute our ongoing strategy to more closely align our TOMY International regions in order to continue expanding our global footprint,” said Kazuhiro Kojima, president and chief operating officer, TOMY Company Ltd.

“We have been working closely with our management teams throughout Europe and the Americas in this effort. Integrating the management reporting under Pete and Greg will help to continue this global alignment.

“I would like to thank Mark for his many valuable contributions and service over the past three years, He has worked hard to lead our European team through challenging transitions in our industry and we wish him all the best in the future.”

Foster added: “I am leaving the company in a good place. We have achieved our targets and have some great plans in place for the next five years. TOMY will flourish and the team is very strong to continue to work that we have planned together.”

Mary Wood, who joined TOMY UK last year from Vivid remains at the helm of the UK business reporting in to the global team.
