‘Stockists have high hopes for new Sweet Pups launch,’ says Trends UK

Key stockists have ‘high hopes’ for Trend UK’s long-awaited launch of Sweet Pups, kicking off with a TV campaign this July.

Sweet Pups is a new range of collectable puppies with the ability to transform from pastries in to adorable plush toys. There are 12 to collect and four different scents in the line.

Developed by Premium Toys, Sweet Pups were ‘a hit at trade fairs earlier in the year,’ while reports from the firm suggest that social media fans have been ‘desperately trying to get hold of them via online and press competitions.’

Lindsay Hardy, marketing director at Trends UK, told ToyNews: “Wire PR has been doing a lot of pre-launch social media with a limited number of samples available before the stock arrived and Sweet Pups have had a huge response with bloggers very keen to do reviews and host competitions. One online competition had over 13,000 entries.”

Key stockist, Claire’s Accessories is already expecting big things from the brand this year.

“They will support the TV campaign with in-store signage and they have high hopes for the brand,” said Hardy.
