Alpha Animation celebrates as Superwings is named in NPD’s top ten new properties

Alpha Animation and Toys UK is flying high with Super Wings this year, as the hit pre-school property reaches the number eight spot on the top ten new properties total market, according to the latest NPD figures.

The brand has clocked up millions in global sales and in the UK the launch of a robust licensing programme and broadcast deals across Tiny Pop and Cartoonito has helped meet increasing demand for the property.

Mark Hyndman, general manager, UK and Ireland, said: “These results are not only testament to the fantastic work of the UK team and support of our retail partners, but importantly thy highlight the insatiable appetite for quality content and CP from our consumer audiences.

“It has been our ambition to see Super Wings fly to a top spot and this sets the scene for a pipeline of exciting new products and activity into 2019.”

Alpha Animation will continue to support the brand’s success in the pre-school market with a comprehensive schedule of new content and product development into 2019 and beyond.
