Spin Master implements next phase of growth with Party Popteenies launch

Spin Master has launched a new line of party-themed collectable dolls and accessories called Party Popteenies.

With four themed toys to choose from, fans will find an array of unique celebrations within each as they arrive packaged in party-favours and gift-box designs.

Party Popteenies plays beyond the surprise, from the anticipation of when the pop moment happens to the reveal of the collectable itself,” said Catherine Demas, vice president, girls and preschool.

“By creating a miniature world that ultimately champions positivity and fun, the Party Popteenies experience fosters a deeper sense of exploration after the reveal. Everything from the pop to the party-ready packaging encourages kids to engage in imaginative play, allowing the world of Party Popteenies to fully come to life.”

Within the new range are Surprise Poppers that open with a burst of confetti and three different party themes including Rainbow Unicorn, Cutie Animal or Winter Wonderland. This line is followed by the Double Surprise Popper and the Party Surprise Box Playset.

The Poptastic Party Playset completes the range, featuring a spinning dance floor, photo booth, banquet room and elevator.

“As part of our growth strategy, we continue to innovate across our portfolio of brand and business segments,” said Ben Gadbois, Spin Master’s global president and COO.

“The demand for blind packs and collectables continues to increase, with consumers seeking out more immersive forms of play. As innovators, we found a way to elevate the element of surprise that kids crave, by adding a feature that creates a sound and action many immediately associate with surprises and celebrations.

“Party Popteenies extends the element of surprise to truly create wow moments.”

Spin Master has also created a custom song and special music video – Everyone’s Invited – to support the range. The music video stars social media’s Heaven King and Piper Rockelle, whose dance videos have been watched by millions.

With more than 25 dolls to collect from three different themed parties, Spin Master is hoping to drive collectability among kids aged four plus.
