LEGO confirms title and release date of The LEGO Movie sequel

LEGO has confirmed the title of its upcoming sequel to the 2015 block buster, The LEGO Movie.

The Danish toy firm confirmed the arrival of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part via Twitter on May 21.

The sequel to the popular The LEGO Movie has also been slated for a release date of February 8, 2019.

Further details on the movie are still scarce but reports suggest that the film will tackle issues surrounding gender and the manner in which children play. The film will be produced by Chris McKay.
