A team of Sambro executives is undertaking its biggest charity drive to date: a 725 mile cycle across Europe in a bid to raise £15,000 for the licensing industry charity, The Light Fund.
Nikki Samuels, Tom Duffy and Paul Cook will embark on the journey, split into two separate trials, in a bid to raise the sum for the renowned industry charity.
The first challenge will be undertaken by Samuels and commence from May 13 until May 17 in Monaco and will see him join a team of fundraisers travelling from Monaco to Milan. They will not only cycle 400 miles but climb a huge 10,000 metres in five days.
Then, from June 12 to 15, the Sambro team will be strengthened and Samuels will be joined by MD Tom Duffy and Paul Cook from UK sales. The trio will take on a 325 mile cycle over four days with the journey spanning Bristol to Dublin.
Nikki Samuels, licensing director at Sambro, said: “The Light Fund is a brilliant charity that makes such a huge difference to many children’s lives – this is one of the biggest physical challenges we have ever undertaken but raising funds for such a great cause spurs us all on.
“We have raised over half of our ambitious target so far and we really appreciate any donation big or small to get us to our goal. We won’t even mention the fact that we have Licensing Expo in between – we will be paragons of virtue.”
