Hasbro celebrates Autism Awareness Month with Sesame Street’s Julia mini plush

Hasbro is embracing the ethos of Autism Awareness Month this April with a new addition to its Sesame Street plush line.

The popular character and Sesame Street’s first to tackle the issue of autism head on, Julia, has joined the collection of plush toys this year, available to audiences across the US and Canada.

‘Children and families everywhere have embraced Julia, the first Sesame Street Muppet with autism, since her onscreen debut in April 2017,’ read a statement from the Hasbro team.

‘Now for the first time, little ones in the US and Canada can engage with this sweet character both onscreen and in the playroom with the new Julia plush character from Hasbro.’

Aimed at children aged 12 months and upwards, Julia joins the Sesame Street Mini Plush Assortment with a retail price of $7.99.
