Tomy’s KiiPix to make Photography Show debut

Visitors to The Photography Show at the NEC Birmingham can get hands-on with Tomy’s new retro-inspired photo printer, the KiiPix from March 17th-20th the firm has announced.

The Photography Show is the largest event of its kind in the UK. Launched in 2014, the show attracts visitors including professional and enthusiast photographers and organisations from across the imaging industry.

The KiiPix printer does not require batteries, an app or Wi-Fi to use; simply open up the device, place your smartphone on top, press the button and rotate the dial to print out your photo.

The product capitalises on the re-emerging trend of film photography, allowing users a quick and simple way to edit and print their photos.

“We’re very excited to be showcasing the Kiipix printer at The Photography Show and are looking forward to consumer and expert reactions," said Jorge Augusto, UK brand manager for Tomy Toys.

“Instant photography has become extremely popular over the last few years, as new consumers experience the magic and nostalgia of watching a photo come alive in a tangible form.”

TOMY will be showcasing KiiPix at stand G68 in Hall 5.
