NY Toy Fair 2018: Wicked Cool Toys teams with Crayola for arts and crafts-inspired plush toys

Wicked cool Toys and Crayola have teamed up on a new line of creative plush toys and activities based on the iconic arts and crafts brand.

The new agreement grants Wicked Cool Toys the rights to create a dynamic line of colour-on plush that features Crayola markers, paints and more.

In addition, Wicked Cool Toys plans to develop a line of pixelated art puzzles and creative activities using slow rise foam. The new Color ‘N’ Plush line is expected to launch in the US this autumn.

Pixelated art puzzles and slow rise foam lines will then follow in 2019.

“We are thrilled to partner with Crayola to bring high quality and fun art activity toys that we believe both children and parents will love,” said Jeremy Padawer, co-president of Wicked Cool Toys.

“We continue to align with the most incredible and trusted classic brands, and are incredibly proud to add Crayola products to our portfolio.”

Warren Schorr, vice president of business development and global licensing of Crayola, added: “We are excited to work closely with Wicked Cool Toys. Its creativity and innovative approach to toys will provide a colourful, fun new way for kids to experience our iconic brand.”
