Hot Wheels announces partnership with Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg

Hot Wheels has announced a new partnership with Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg, who will become a global brand ambassador for 2018/19.

The new partnership kicks off Hot Wheels’ 50th anniversary celebrations, which will see a series of events taking place at Nuremberg Toy Fair.

“Hot Wheels was my first introduction into racing, and it’s where my love for cars began,” commented Rosberg. “In my new role as a member of the Hot Wheels team I hope to inspire kids to take on any challenge, and to compete, create and experiment with their favourite Hot Wheels cars.”

An induction ceremony was held at Nuremberg Toy Fair for Rosberg on November 30th.

Also as part of the celebrations, pro-skater Stephan Pöhlmann will challenge two fans to a skate off on a custom Hot Wheels 50halfpipe.
