Sphero to appear at BETT 2018

Robot toy firm Sphero will be making its debut appearance the educational toy fair at London’s Excel on 24-27 January. Sphero will be based at stand #C110.

The firm will be showing Sphero Edu, a product that teaches kids the basics of coding and robotics.

While coding and 21st century skills are necessary, Sphero’s program also goes beyond code by incorporating robotics and technology with collaborative STEAM activities, nurturing students’ imaginations in ways no other education program can.

Sphero’s Vice President of Education, David Millage, will be available on the Sphero stand at BETT to chat with UK media. At Sphero, David works with a team of technologists and teachers to bring robotic toys to life through play and creative expression.

Sphero’s robots are used in thousands of schools worldwide to help teach kids skills that range from problem-solving to programming. Prior to Sphero, David spent six years at Apple Inc. helping build the AppStore, iBookstore, and Swift Playgrounds.
