Kara Tointon to unveil Asmodee UK’s Arokah at London Toy Fair 2018

Asmodee UK is gearing up for the official unveiling of its big hitting title for 2018, Arokah, this London Toy Fair, enlisting the help of actress Kara Tointon and the game’s inventor Steve C. Brazier for the big event.

Based on a new mathematical discovery by Brazier, the game reveals previously unknown properties of a hexagon through a unique set of 23 shapes that combine to create extraordinary patterns.

Tointon has been named as the game’s ambassador owing to her empathy for learning, something highlighted in the BBC documentary, Kara Tointon: Don’t Call Me Stupid, on her lifelong battle with dyslexia.

The documentary prompted Brazier to reach out before Arokah had been developed as a commercial product, and since 2013 Tointon has been part of the team helping to bring Arokah to the world as a challenge accessible to all ages and abilities.

‘Arokah’s evocative and intriguing designs could easily see it mistaken for an artefact of a bygone age. In reality, it is a fiendishly difficult and completely addictive puzzle challenge that is sure to test your resolve, patience and determination to the limit,’ read a statement from Asmodee UK.

Each set of Arokah contains the Arokah shpaes, 12 puzzle challenges and a double-sided playing board with a welcome guide and instructions. Players journey through six levels of Arokah before taking on the Master Challenges.

Kara Tointon will be unveiling the new game at 12pm on Tuesday, January 23rd, the first day of the London Toy Fair.
