Tactic Games heralds big 2018 growth plans with Playtime PR appointment

Tactic Games is furthering its plans for ambitious growth for 2018 with the appointment of Playtime PR.

Tasked with handling all trade and consumer PR and media relations for the company and its range of toys and games, Playtime will place emphasis on multiple new product launches and revamps slated for 2018.

Jeremy Pateman, country director, Tactic Games UK, said: “This is an incredibly exciting year for us. We will be bringing numerous innovative new toys and games to market while also refreshing a number of our existing titles in order to help grow our retail distribution in the UK.

“It is therefore vitally important that we breathe new life into our marketing efforts, boosting our profile with both trade and consumer audiences. We are thrilled to have Playtime on board, and confident that their expertise in toys and games will ensure Tactic products are on media, retailer and consumer radars.”

Playtime PR’s founder and managing director, Lesley Singleton, added: “Tactic is a games company with 50 years of heritage, a reputation for quality and a ridiculously well-stocked games cupboard that we can’t wait to dive into.

“Our plans include taking Tactic’s portfolio into new arenas with wider marketing activations and events, supported by hardcore, quality media relations.

“There are plenty of gems that we look forward to getting into the right hands this year, and – having had a sneak peek at the new ranges on the horizon – I am confident it’s going to be a very special year for Tactic.”
