Jumbo Games signs Peter Rabbit licensing agreement

Jumbo Games has signed a new agreement with Silvergate Media to add Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit license to its portfolio of kids’ and adults puzzles.

Silvergate Media is the global licensing agent for Peter Rabbit Classic on behalf of Penguin Ventures.

Under the new deal, the manufacturer will be releasing four new classic Peter Rabbit puzzles for children and adult fans of the popular Beatrix Potter books. These will include four-in-one Puzzles Box set as well as a Giant Floor Puzzle aimed at children aged three and upwards.

Jumbo will also be releasing a 1,000 piece and 500 piece puzzle aimed at adult puzzlers. The classic Peter Rabbit puzzles will be available in time for Easter 2018.

“We are thrilled to be working with such a charming and popular brand with over 115 years’ heritage in the UK,” said Steven Russell, senior marketing executive at Jumbo Games.

“Peter Rabbit is a brand that all generations will know and love and we’re certain our ranges, across both adult and children’s puzzles, will be a big hit with fans in 2018.”

Lisa Macdonald, vice president consumer products and TV sales EMEA Silvergate Media, added: “We are pleased to welcome Jumbo Games on board the classic Peter Rabbit licensing programme.

“Their products will offer fans old and new a great way to enjoy this much-loved brand together and we look forward to seeing the puzzles launch at retail next spring.”
