Tactic Games appoints new sales manager Phil O’nion

Finnish board game company Tactic has appointed Phil O’nion to the role of business development manager.

Based in the UK, O’nion will work alongside country director Jeremy Pateman and sales director, Rob Fort to develop new layers to the business.

With an extensive background in the toy industry, O’nion has most recently held a position with Fab Distributions. Prior to this, he held tenure at Puzzles & Play, Cartamundi, Stadbauer, Gibsons, Bluw and Nikko.

In his new role, O’nion is responsible for growing the Tactic business in the UK through strategic partnerships and opportunities as the company prepares to embark on a busy year.

O’nion, said: “I am excited to join Tactic at such an exciting time for the business. I am looking forward to strategically growing the business as we move into 2018. There’s a huge opportunity to develop the brand further and I am confident that vision will pay off.”

Rob Fort, sales director, Tactic Games UK, added: “We are preparing for our most ambitious year of growth yet, with an array of innovative new products launching next year in the toys and games categories and I am delighted to welcome Phil who joins us with unrivalled sector experience and industry knowledge which I am confident will be of immense benefit to the company going forward.”
