Plush toy manufacturer Posh Paws has announced the hire of Laura Bull, who has stepped into the role of marketing manager while group brand and marketing director Lauren Shipman is on maternity leave.
Laura, who has already taken up her post to ensure a quality and detailed handover period with Lauren, joins from toy company Schleich where she held the position of marketing manager. During almost seven years with the German toy company, Laura was responsible for all elements of marketing and PR – managing and planning the marketing budget, co-ordinating trade shows, liaising and building meaningful relationships with national accounts and independents, managing licenses, promotions, TV campaigns and much more.
Shipman will steer a series of major campaigns during 2018, across Posh Paws licensed ranges, including Disney and Universal.
“From her background in retail marketing, we’re excited about the wealth of experience and industry knowledge Laura brings to the role. It will prove invaluable in light of the huge marketing plans we have going ahead in 2018 and we are very pleased to have her on board,” commented David Martin, MD.
