World Record attempt for Rubie’s at London Comic Con

Rubie’s is hosting an attempt to set a new world record for the largest gathering of Marvel Avengers in one place at London Comic Con later this month.

More than 250 participants are needed to make the record official when it all kicks off on Sunday 29th October and Rubies will be on hand to help supply Marvel Avengers costumes to the first 400 people to register.

An official Guinness adjudicate will be on hand to verify the world record attempt.

Tracey Devine, head of licensing and marketing EMEA at Rubie’s, said: “We are really excited to be attempting this world record and what better place to do it than at London Comic Con in the run up to Halloween.

“Everyone has their favourite Marvel Avengers character and we thought it would be fun to see how many we can get into one place at the same time. If you don’t have a costume though, don’t worry, we are helping out and will be giving away free dress-up to the first 400 people who register to take part.”
