Toy firms take the spotlight on latest episode of The Apprentice

Members of the toy industry would have spotted some familiar sights on the latest episode of The Apprentice as robot toys were placed in the spotlight.

Both teams battled it out to secure Wowwee’s Coder Mip from WowWee as their top choice to represent in the robotic toys sales task.

Presented on the show by Lauren DeLord, senior marketing manager for Jazwares, the UK Distributor for WowWee, it was now down to Lauren to make the tough choice to select a team to represent Coder Mip. Despite a valiant effort to win, the team were unfortunately beaten to the post to win the overall task.

“We were delighted that both teams selected Coder Mip," commented DeLord. "The selected team impressed me with their enthusiasm and questioning of the product features. Coder Mip is a fantastic product that is fun and also helps kids develop their coding skills!”

Alpha’s Drone Force also featured on the show and keen-eyed viewers may have caught a glimpse of The Entertainer CEO Gary Grant.
