Hasbro announces Stranger Things board game range

Hasbro is prepping to enter ‘the upside-down’ with a line of board games based on hit Netflix series Stranger Things, ahead of the show’s second season.

Stranger Things Monopoly will see Hawkins, Indiana and the show’s mysterious upside-down world collide in this new version of the classic board game. With silver bicycle, camera, television, and tennis shoe tokens, and gold versions of each token flipped to represent the upside down, players can explore the Stranger Things world with themed properties like ‘Steve’s Pool,’ ‘Hawkins High School,’ ‘Mike’s Basement,’ and more.

In Stranger Things Ouija, players can communicate with those trapped in the upside-down, gathering clues and tracking the monsters whereabouts. Whether it’s Will’s welfare or tracking the Monster’s whereabouts, the included Ouija planchette will help you keep tabs on Hawkins, Indiana’s parallel dimension.

Finally, in Stranger Things: The Eggo Card Game players choose to play as Will, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Eleven, Hopper, or Barb and draw four Eggo cards with a variety of suspenseful outcomes. Cards can either send a player’s character to the upside down, make an opponent draw two, reverse the order of play, summon the Demogorgon monster, or cause a rift that sends everyone who was right side up to the upside-down, and vice versa! To win and escape the upside-down, get rid of all your Eggo cards before the Demogorgon attacks or be toast.

The range will launch throughout Autumn 2017, alongside the launch of the show’s second season on Netflix.
