Goliath acquires Jax Games

International games manufacturer and distributor Goliath Games has acquired Jax Ltd., a firm famous for such titles as the Sequence brand of games as well as games such as Doodle Dice, Kings in the Corner and Solitaire Frenzy.

Entrepreneur Zelman Lavine founded the company in 1980 and the business is still managed by his family to this day. The Lavine family will stay in their leadership roles with Cindy, Kreg, and Debbie Levine moving the company forward.

"Jax will continue to produce its own products and maintain its brand while enjoying the benefit of Goliath’s significant global resources, including R&D, logistics, TV and digital marketing campaigns. I look forward to sharing their great story with consumers everywhere," said David Norman, president of Goliath Games, LLC.

Jax is currently in the promotional cycle for family board game Skatter, while Goliath has recently released a new flagship title, Catch the Fox.
