Golden Bear names new licensing consultant

Golden Bear is bolstering its licensing team in the form of Tracy Griffiths as licensing consultant.

Set to join the firm this month, Griffiths will work with the team to drive its licensing programme forward.

“Tracy has a proven track record in developing sustained and effective licensing partnerships in her roles with Fremantle Media and HIT,” said Barry Hughes, MD at Golden Bear.

“She is in a perfect position to work with us as a company to drive our licensing programme forward, building on our successful ranges and identifying new opportunities for the business.”

Griffiths boasts a wealth of experience within the licensing industry, having previously worked at Fremantle Media, Mattel and HTI.

In addition, she also spent time at Mothercare and Woolworths as a buyer.

Griffiths added: “I am delighted to be working with Golden Bear in what is a very exciting and dynamic period of growth for the company.

“Golden Bear has an established portfolio of high profile licensed ranges with key licenses performing beyond expectations, including Bush Baby World currently setting the world alight at retail and In The Night Garden continuing its sustained period of growth for the company.

"I look forward to building and shaping their licensing programme, working alongside an extremely proactive and creative team.”
