Golden Bear brings Build-A-Bot to UK shores

Colorific’s Build-A-Bot is making its way to the UK, thanks to a new distribution deal with Golden Bear.

As part of the agreement, the gloal toy brand will launch the toy within the UK in 2018.

With six designs available to choose from, including bunny, fox, dino, ant, bee and ladybird, Build-A-Bot allows users to build and personalise their own robot.

“International distributors and retailers have taken notice of Build-A-Bot’s success in Australia and they’re eager to bring this popular toy to their shores,” said Mark Levi, MD of Colorific.

“We’re excited to partner with Golden Bear Toys to provide innovative and fun products like Build-A-Bot to children and families worldwide.”

After its release in the Australian market during March 2017, the toy has gone on to enjoy a rise in sales, nearly selling out at numerous retailers.

Designed for kids aged from five and up, Build-A-Bot offers numerous STEAM-based skills for children to learn.

Barry Hughes, MD of Golden Bear, added: “Our team is thrilled to partner with Colorific to bring Build-A-Bot to the UK.

“The unique range provides children with toys that stimulate learning, encourages problem-solving and offers hours of endless fun, and retail reaction has already proved that this combination ticks all the boxes and we can’t wait to get toys into kids’ hands.”
