LeapFrog rolls out Epic Academy Edition tablet

LeapFrog is bolstering its tech toy offering with the addition of Android-based tablet, Epic Academy Edition.

The company’s subscription-based interactive learning program, LeapFrog Academy, has been embedded within the tablet, which will guide users on learning adventures, while offering access to more than 1,000 learning activities.

For example, 20 learning games are packed on board, while parents will have access to the LeapFrog Learning Library that includes games, apps, videos and music.

"LeapFrog tablets have always been respected for their outstanding content and personalised learning experiences," said William To, president of VTech North America.

"LeapFrog Epic Academy Edition raises the bar even higher, with $150 worth of learning content and access to our trailblasing new LeapFrog Academy, giving children endless learning opportunities at an exceptional value to parents."

Designed for kids aged three to nine years old, the tablet will retail for $119.99.
