Jakks Pacific Care Package heads to Amazon

Jakks Pacific has debuted its Jakks Care Package, designed to help alleviate feelings of homesickness for children.

Available from Amazon, the package offers kids who are away from home with ‘fun-in-a-box’, for example the box boasts a 12-inch superhero plush toy, a mask and cape, an activity tray and a projector flashlight.

“Every kid loves receiving a care package when they’re away from home,” said Stephen Berman, chairman and CEO of Jakks Pacific.

“However, many parents aren’t sure what their children want or, in the case of hospitalised children, what’s allowed that will also make them feel better and less homesick.”

Launching today, the package is priced at $39.99 and can be purchased online from Amazon.

Plus, for every Jakks Care Package sold, the company’s philanthropic arm Jakks Cares will donate a toy to a child in need.
