New Mattel Justice League figures revealed, gives first look at villain

A new Justice League action figure set from Mattel has revealed the first look at villain Steppenwolf, thanks to a picture snapped by a keen-eyed fan.

Hank Thomas Pezer snapped the picture of the Batman and Steppenwolf two-pack at his local California K-Mart, which was then reported on by batman-news.com.

Steppenwolf is the uncle of Darkseid, the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips, and one of Darkseid’s elite generals. It has been theorised among fans that Steppenwolf, played by Game of Thrones alum Ciarán Hinds (Mance Rayder), will lead the invasion of Earth in Justice League.
