Toys R Us Dundee store to reopen after fire

Dundee’s Toys R Us store it set to reopen its doors in July, following a large fire in the shop.

Based in Kingsway West Retail Park, the fire took place in March, which allegedly started deliberately.

A spokeswoman for the Kingsway West Retail Park said: “Following the fire earlier this year, Toys R Us is currently undergoing refurbishment which is now nearing completion,” reports the Evening Telegraph.

"We very much hope that the store will reopen by the end of July with lots of exciting new products in time for the school summer holidays.”

After months of renovation, the store is planned to open once again to customers at the end of July.
