Whirligig set to open fourth store

Toy retailer Whirligig is set to expand even further with the opening of its fourth branch.

Based in Canterbury, the new store will open its doors to shoppers on July 1st thanks to the ‘excellent reception that the shops have received from local customers’.

Whirligig was first founded back in 2012, with stores located in Brighton, Chichester and Tunbridge Wells.

“Canterbury is an exciting new area of growth for us. Located right next to the iconic cathedral, we are looking forward to introducing the city and its visitors to our fantastic range of toys and games,” said Peter Allinson, company founder of Whirligig.

To celebrate the opening, a launch party will take place on June 30th where Councillor Colin Spooner, the Sheriff of Canterbury, will be in attendance.

Every child visiting the shop on the opening day will also receive a free toy.
