Sebastien Cardi to head up Funrise’s French office

As Funrise continues to its global expansion strategy, the toy firm has appointed Sebastien Cardi to oversee its French Headquarters.

Boasting over ten years’ experience in the toy industry, Cardi will lead the new French office as the firm continues to look for opportunities in key territories to build the business.

"The French consumer is vitally important to our onternational expansion. With our French entity and team, we look forward to working directly with retailers to deliver the success of our global brands to France," said Martin Good, SVP of international at Funrise.

Cardi is set to unveil Funrise’s portfolio of global brands later this month at the Jouets & Jeux Pre-Show Permanent in Paris.

Cardi added: "With historical brands such as TONKA and new licensed entertainment properties like Luna Petunia, Funrise is sure to make an impact on the French market across multiple categories.”

Prior to joining Funrise, Cardi worked at Famosa where he managed a variety of well known toy brands in the French market.
