Thames & Kosmos pick up seven gongs at Imagination Gaming Family and Education Awards

Board game firm Thames & Kosmos has picked up an impressive seven awards at the 2017 Imagination Gaming Family and Education awards.

After months of game playing, investigating and judging, including three days collecting opinions of UK Games Expo Family Zone attendees, the panels of experts have delivered their verdict which saw Thames & Kosmos titles triumph across multiple categories.

The newly released Word Slam, the team based storytelling game, took bronze in the literary award section. Ubongo, the fast-paced geometric puzzle game, took three golds with one each in the family, maths and problem-solving awards categories.

Also new for 2017, Kerala, the elephant parade tile-laying game, took a silver in the family awards, while Dimension, the three-dimensional, mind-bending, sphere-stacking game took bronze in the family awards and a silver in the problem-solving category.

“This is certainly turning out to be a terrific year for our board games, to see such a variety of our titles taking awards across multiple categories is such a fantastic endorsement of our range," commented Jo Drage, sales director at Thames & Kosmos.
