Zing and Moose boost Fidget trend with new products

The Fidget toy trend shows no signs of slowing down as major toy firms Moose Toys and Zing Toys have announced new products set to further expand the craze.

Moose Toys has introduced its latest fidget toy in the form of Flipslide, a hand-held electronic pattern and color memorization game with a unique twist-and-slide feature where players can compete against themselves and each other. The game encourages players to flip, slide and match the colored cubes with corresponding lights, and offers four unique game modes including Speed Mode, Level Mode, Memory Mode and Multiplayer Mode.

“We are incredibly excited about Flipslide, as it is another great example of the innovation that the team here at Moose is showing,” said Paul Solomon, Co-CEO of Moose Toys. “Both kids and adults will have a blast with this new game that marks the electronic future of fidget – the only hard part putting it down!”

Elsewhere, Zing Toys has confirmed a raft of new Fidget-inspired products including Tumblstix – a mesmerising fidget toy that challenges you to balance and catch the cylinder smoothly during 360 degree rolls and 180 degree flicks, all whilst doing tricks, as well as The Zing Dama, a co-ordination game with a ball on a string and a catcher ring. The aim is to capture the ball, and of course, the trick is to do it with flair and skill.

Zing also revealed Klixx, a Fidget toy featuring a chain link of coloured widgets snaps together with a neat click.

“We have been watching the fidget trend grow for some time now. Fortunately, we began development on this line awhile ago, which has created a nice opportunity for us to really make a branded category statement,” commented Dean Tzembelikos, vice president international at ZING Global Ltd.

Zing also has an existing range of Fidget Spinners, featuring LED lights and stackable features.
