Toymaster exhibitors donate toys to Harrogate charities

Generous exhibitors at Toymaster’s annual May show have once again donated a variety of toys to charities, including children’s hospices and hospitals.

Continuing the tradition, toys were donated to charities across Harrogate, Leeds and in the surrounding areas.

These included Martin House, Skibbu, Leeds General Infirmary Children’s Ward, St James Hospital Children Cancer Wards, Hope Pastures and Harrogate Young Carers.

“A big thank you to all those suppliers who left donations for charity in the Toymaster reception room on the last day of the show,” said Yogi Parmar, operations director at Toymaster.

Maureen Burns from Martin House, who works with the charities to collect each donation, added in a letter: “We are delighted to be presented with such a huge amount of toys this year and as always they are very much appreciated by the recipients.

“Sincere thanks on behalf of all the children and families who will derive great joy from this most welcome donation and a special thank you for once again making this possible.”
