Zinkia and Digital TV Group ink global deal for Pocoyo relaunch

Zinkia is aiming to reposition the Pocoyo brand and increase its growth in line with its other titles via a new partnership with multinational content production, distribution and marketing firm Digital TV Group.

The group will take over the commercialization of the company’s brands both in traditional and digital audiovisual platforms, consumer products exploitation (Licensing & Merchandising), plus the development of interactive and Edutainment products.

This activity is part of a strategic plan designed by Zinkia in partnership with Digital TV Group that entails the implementation of commercial and marketing actions in the territories in which the Spanish company is currently present (over 150 countries), as well as new markets and platforms, over the coming years.

The pre-school show Pocoyo aims for education and entertainment merged in perfect balance. The curiosity of the lead character, joined by his inseparable friends Nina, Elly, Pato, Loula, Sleepy Bird, Fred, Baby Bird, and Caterpillar, generates countless adventures in a world in which colours, shapes and sounds form a new language that captivates both kids and adults.
