Golden Bear’s senior licensing and marketing director, Katherine Pierce leaves for new venture

Golden Bear’s senior licensing and marketing manager, Katherine Pierce is leaving the firm to pursue interests outside of toys and licensing.

Pierce will be stepping away from her role at Golden Bear by the end of May.

“I have enjoyed being part of the Golden Bear team, working within the toy trade, but excited to move on to a new venture,” said Pierce.

Barry Hughes, MD, Golden Bear, added: “Katherine has been a great asset to the Golden Bear team. She has been instrumental in driving our licensing strategy and acquisitions as well as developing our marketing team during her time with us, and we wish her all the best for the future.”

The Golden Bear marketing team will now see Rachel Field, consumer marketing manager return from maternity leave in June.

Kathy Lesser, who has been covering Rachel’s position, will step into her new role as trade marketing manager. The team is completed by digital marketing executive, Oliver Hales.

For the immediate future, licensing will be managed by Barry Hughes, managing director and Christine Nicholls, vice chairman and director of product development.
