Deadly Premonition: The Board Game smashes Kickstarter goal in one day

A board game based on the popular PS3 and Xbox 360 videogame title, Deadly Premoniton has smashed its Kickstarter goal of $50,000 in just one day.

The two to four player board game based on the story and characters of the gaming title has so far secured more than $70,000 in funding, with 29 days still remaining on the crowdfunding site.

Deadly Premonition: The Board Game tasks players with protecting the innocent, incriminating the guilty and uncovering those responsible for the murder of the game’s character, Anna Graham.

‘Our vision was to create a well-balanced, atmospheric game inspired by Deadly Premonition’s delivery of big reveals, plot twists and consequential moments,’ said Rising Star Games, the team behind the project, via its Kickstarter page.
