Tech2Play and Infant areas to return to Spielwarenmesse 2018

Following this year’s launch of the Tech2Play activity area and Baby and Infant Articles special area, both will be making a return to 2018’s show.

Hands-on activities will take place at the Tech2Play in 2018, with an R/C drone flight cage, robot racing course and more.

“This is a superb place to make new contacts; we were easily found by trade visitors looking for information on tech toys and robots,” said Myles Bax from start-up Robotical.

Based between Halls Two and Three, the Baby and Infant Articles special area proved to be a popular attraction for guests this year, and will make its return next year with a continued focus on six areas – baby toys, baby textiles, travel systems, care & nutrition, home & safety and licensed articles.

Anne Meinecke, a buyer with tausendkind GmbH, added: “I am really impressed with the Baby and Infant Articles special area.”

Next year’s show will mark the 69th Spielwarenmesse, which will take place in Nuremberg from January 31st to February 4th, 2018.

Ernst Kick, CEO of Spielwarenmesse eG, commented: “Both the Baby and Infant Articles special area and the Tech2Play activity area achieved top marks at the last Spielwarenmesse.

“By once again shining a spotlight on the products available in these areas, we will offer trade visitors specific inspiration and variety for their range.”
