Mattel Play! heads to Netherlands

Mattel is taking its interactive, indoor entertainment centre, Mattel Play! to Sevenum in Noord-Limburg.

Mattel Play! Sevenum marks the first branded attraction of its kind in the Netherlands and Benelux and will boast a 2,000sq m facility inside the new Family Entertainment Center Sevenum located on the site of De Schatberg.

Lappset Creative has designed and planned the entire attraction, marking the second centre or Mattel Play! supplied by Lappset Creative.

"The multimillion euro project is already well under way. Lappset Creative designs, manufactures and installs the attraction,” said Johan Granholm, director of Lappset Creative.

“The design phase has already been completed, and manufacturing will begin now with full installation scheduled for the late autumn this year."

Themed zones inside will bring iconic Mattel characters to life, including Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam and Angelina Ballerina.

In addition, kids will get the chance to build their own creations in the Mega Construx and Mega Bloks zone.
