Zimpli Kids has clocked a massive two billion YouTube views for its online Gelli Baff and Slime Baff campaign.
Just seven months on from hitting its one million view milestone, numbers continue to grow, averaging 5.5 million new views per day, equating to 60 new views every second of every day.
‘YouTube is the new TV, giving children the freedom to explore their own interests and no longer dictate to a TV schedule. Over 50 per cent more of children now own a tablet than figures of last year and spend an average of 4.8 hours a day online with the dominant destination being Youtube,’ read a statement from the firm.
‘Zimpli Kids saw an opportunity to showcase popular, unique and very visual Slime Baff and Gelli Baff products on a platform that millions of children head to each day.
‘We now have over 900 YouTube partners and are featured in videos from all over the world including the US, UK, Germany, Brazil, Korea and Japan.
‘The huge YouTube traction is pushing ‘sell through’ to unbelievable levels and as the views continue to rise, so does our worldwide sales; we are 300 per cent up on 2015 and are still growing.’
