Toymaster kicked off its brand presentation in Swindon yesterday, where a variety of suppliers all filled the room to check out how the buying group can expand their brands.
Ian Edmunds, MD, and Will Abigail, development manager of Toymaster, gave guests an overview of the business, while highlighting the opportunities available to suppliers, from special window features, social media campaigns and promotional giveaways.
Edmunds was also keen to highlight the recent news that Toymaster still has no plans to bring its own label products to market, after previously revealing: “We do not have one either in-store, in the planning stage or even in our list of the top 100 things to do to Help Our Members Trade More Profitably.”
The strength of Toymaster’s growing social media presence was also top of the agenda, following the company’s positive presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, where campaigns are a popular choice for its many suppliers.
Lastly, with the Toymaster May show just around the corner, it was clear that both Edmunds and Abigail were excited for the much-anticipated show for indies, which will take place at The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate.
