Mega Construx builds Pokémon construction line

Mattel’s Mega Construx line is bringing the world of Pokémon to the construction aisle in the form of all-new micro-detailed construction toys.

The Pokémon Mega Construx line boasts sets that will allow fans to build Pokémon settings and battle among buildable, articulated figures of their favourite Pokémon.

Pikachu, Charizard, and many more Pokémons discovered in the Kanto region will all be included in the initial launch.

“Mega Construx offers Pokémon fans a new way to further immerse themselves in the world they love through construction,” said Bisma Ansari, SVP and global brand GM of Mega Brands.

“With authenticity at the forefront, Pokémon fans can build their favourite Pokémon and evolve them from one level to the next – and of course, build them all.”

Mega’s Pokémon licensed line is the newest addition to the Construx brand, which will be available for purchase from this summer.

Colin Palmer, VP of marketing at The Pokémon Company International, added “Mega Construx brings the engaging world of Pokémon to life in one of the most popular play expressions for kids today.

“We bring only the highest quality Pokémon experiences to our fans around the world and Mega Brands’ attention to detail and thoughtful creativity with Mega Construx is sure to delight kids as well as the most passionate Pokémon trainers.”
