Funko named master toy partner for Cartoon Network’s Rick and Morty

Cartoon Network has named Funko its master toy partner for a new line of figures and collectables based on the hit series Rick and Morty.

The move comes as Cartoon Network looks to expand its licensing efforts around the popular Adult Swim property.

The first products o be introduced in the collection include Galactic Plushies, Mystery Minis and Pocket Pop! Keychains, as well as its staple collection of Funko Pop! Vinyl figures.

The company will also launch its first fully poseable, articulated action figure for Rick and Morty. A range of additional products from roleplay toys to novelty housewares and home décor are also included in the new partnership.

Cartoon Network’s Rick and Morty follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his grandson on dangerous adventures across the universe.

Season three of the hit show is currently in production.
