Collectable Corale 16/02/2017

It’s been a slower week in collectables news, given that we are teetering on the edge of New York Toy Fair, but there were still a few exciting reveals that have got us seriously excited for what’s to come. Read on for our top collectables reveals of the last week.

Funko

We start as ever with Funko who unveiled the second wave of Pop! vinyls based on popular Cartoon Network show Steven Universe in addition to being named master toy licensee for hit show Rick and Morty. Meanwhile, the firm has also confirmed a line of figures based on vampire anime and manga series Seraph of the End. Elsewhere a new variant on the Despicable Me 3 minion was confirmed along with new variants of the Hikari Stormtrooper. 

L.O.L. Surprise

The ever popular L.O.L. Surprise figures launched in the UK this week to the delight of tween girls everywhere. YouTube sensation, Tiana Toys AndMe was on hand with MGA Entertainment for a live unboxing at the Westfield White City shopping centre to celebrate the UK arrival of the collection that has already taken the US market by storm.

McFarlane 

Gatekeepers of Geekdom McFarlane Toys, have revealed a partnership with Bungie for action figures based on sci-fi fantasy game Destiny. The 10-inch figures will cover the game’s three main classes – Titan, Hunter and Warlock. The firm also announced they will be revealing new products at New York Toy Fair. Expect announcements from their major licenses including The Walking Dead and Spawn.
