TOY FAIR 2017: KD UK teams with LocoRobo for new gesture control tech

KD UK is set to introduce a brand new gesture control technology, thanks to its new partnership with US robotics innovators, LocoRobo.

Known as Gesturebotics Aura, key highlights of the product will include a wearable glove, a caged robot and intuitive gestures.

The glove features gesture control technology, meaning Gesturebotics offers users the ability to control the flying robot with a wave of their hand, while the caged robot has the ability to roll, climb walls and ceilings as well as fly,

In addition, the rolling cage protects the robot from crashing, so users will be able to play knowing their droid will come to no harm.

“We are very excited to be able to introduce such an innovative new product to the market at this years’ Toy Fair,” said Seth Bishop, managing director at KD UK.

“Combining the high quality of the product and its technology, the relevance to consumers with our extensive marketing plans, we expect to see a great reaction from retailers throughout the upcoming trade fairs and look forward to the launch of the Gesturebotics Aura in AW17.”
