Tabletop title Talisman gets digital makeover as it heads to PlayStation

Popular tabletop gaming title Talisman is making its way to PlayStation and PlayStation 4.

Developed by Nomad Games and titled Talisman: Digital Edition, will bring the fantasy adventure game play of the original board game to the videogaming space.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Talisman: Digital Edition to the PlayStation Network this spring,” said Nomad’s managing director, Don Whieford.

“Talisman remains the ultimate fantasy adventure board game and now PlayStation families across the globe will get a chance to share in the adventure.”

The new PlayStation version of the game comes complete with online play, leader boards and detailed interactive tutorials.

In addition to the base game the following expansions will be included; The Reaper, The Frostmarch, The Dungeon, The Highland, The Sacred Pool, The City and The Nether Realm. There are also 58 characters to choose from, with varying strengths and abilities.
