Schleich is celebrating its most successful year to date having seen continued growth throughout 2016.
The results for the toy firm follow what it has billed as unprecedented growth throughout 2015, making last year the ‘biggest year ever’ for its UK operation.
Schleich has since outlined its plans to ‘remain focussed on increased consumer engagement brand awareness’, with the launch of a brand new Schleich UK consumer website.
The new site will link directly to social media platforms, allowing further engagement with both existing and potential consumers.
POS and merchandising will also be high on the agenda and 2017 will see the ongoing roll-out of updated assets for Schleich’s instore fictures to ensure the brand is consistently communicated at retail.
The objective will be to maximise impact, appeal and sales of the entire range.
Country manager for Schleich UK, Jeremy Robinson, said: “2017 has a lot to live up to following our most successful year to date for the UK last year.
“We are however, more than positive that the new website and increased branding at retail will all go to raise awareness of the Schleich brand with the consumer even further.
“Add to this other marketing activity planned including the many diverse PR campaigns, and we have another really exciting year ahead.”
